VPN Connections in Android

All Android phones coming out now is a smart phone that have many functions. Example is Internet connection, WiFi, eMail, games, applications and much more. Almost all the functions of Android already represented on the computer.

If you frequent use the internet, you surely know the VPN (Virtual Private Network) which is used for internet connection. VPN is an alternative for internet connection more secure, more stable and faster than konvesnsional connection, especially if you use it for your business connections.

Under this work step using Free PPTP VPN:

  • Android First step Make sure you are connected to the Internet using conventional connections such as WiFi or 3G connection with a GSM or CDMA card to your liking.
  • Select Settings, Wireless and Networks, VPN Settings and select Add VPN.
  • For further settings Select Add PPTP VPN because the server we are using is of type PPTP.
  • On the VPN name, write the name of the connection (you can write any name you will fit). now look at the picture below

  • On the VPN Server Set type in us.free pptpvpn.com, according to the instructions on the website free PPT VPN.

  • Mark ​​on the Enable Encryption.
  • In the DNS Search Domains, clear the course of this section if you are already using DNS connection is stable. If you want to change it, you can use Google's DNS or OpenDNS.


  • After all has been set, save the configuration by selecting Save.

After the settings finished, it is time to do a test by connecting to the VPN Android. Tap the name of the profile that has been configured before, and then enter your username and password provided. Wait a minute until Android is connected to the VPN server.
